To be the program by which all others are measured.

Kevin Cook is an energetic, motivated and extremely knowledgeable Youth Basketball Coach/Trainer for nearly 15 years. Kevin has been with the Junior Bobcats program since its’ inception and has guided teams to a number of Tri-County Championships, Super League Championships and local AAU championships. Kevin is currently a highly respected Recreation Supervisor for Westchester County Parks. As part of his full time job, Kevin is the co-director of the Westchester County Slam Dunk Tournament, which is held annually at the Westchester County Center. The tournament hosts many of the top ranked boys and girls high school basketball teams in the state of New York. He also runs the Westchester County Youth Basketball Tournament which features 100+ boys and girls recreation and travel teams from our area. Kevin graduated from Pleasantville High School , where his basketball career was highlighted by being selected a Con-Ed Award winner, all-county honors during his senior year and winning two Section One championships and one regional championship.

Jeff Lynch is a co-founder, board member and a head coach in the Junior Bobcats Basketball program since its beginning in 2004. He has been a resident within the Byram Hills School District since 2000, raised 2 boys who competed in multiple sports for Byram Hills High School (BHHS). Coach Jeff usually coaches the 7th and 8th Grade Boys A teams, where he incorporates the BHHS varsity basketball system. Coach Lynch’s goals for the kids are to prepare them for the next level, emphasize playing & competing at the highest level, focusing on individual and team development and demands full commitment to team. Coaching Experience: D1-level AAU basketball coach with the Westchester Hawks from 2006-2011. The Westchester Hawks were a top ranked D1 AAU program in NYC and a top 50 D1 AAU program in the nation. With the Jr. Bobcats, Coach Jeff has led the 7th and 8th grade boys teams to a high-playoff seed every year in the difficult TCBL AA division. Under Coach Lynch’s guidance, it is common to see his reaching and competing in the league’s semifinals. In the off-season, Coach Jeff can be found coordinating and coaching the BHHS level boys AAU teams in local tournaments.

Jeff Lynch

Jeff Lynch is a co-founder, board member and a head coach in the Junior Bobcats Basketball program since its beginning in 2004. Coach Jeff was a 3-sports varsity athlete at North Brunswick HS (NJ), playing football (QB), basketball (PG), and baseball (SS). Coach Jeff played college football and baseball at Gettysburg College. He has been a resident within the Byram Hills School District since 2000, raised 2 boys who competed in multiple sports for Byram Hills High School (BHHS). With the Jr. Bobcats, Coach Jeff has led the 7th and 8th grade boys teams to a high-playoff seed every year in the difficult TCBL AA division. Under Coach Lynch’s guidance, it is common to see his reaching and competing in the league’s semifinals. In the off-season, Coach Jeff can be found coordinating and coaching the BHHS level boys AAU teams in local tournaments.
Marshall Reiff has been the Co-Director of Basketball Operations for the Junior Bobcats Basketball Program since its inception. Marshall’s main duties consist of supervisor to all the coaches and responsible for developing the basketball system which best meets the needs of all players and grade levels. Coach Marshall’s teaching/coaching experience includes 32 years teaching at Mount Vernon High School, 20 years of coaching varsity basketball at Mt. Vernon and Tuckahoe High School, 5 years of training AAU basketball at the Brewster Sport Center. During that time Marshall has a combined overall high school varsity record: 292 wins - 46 losses, including 7 Section One Championships, one Public School State Championship and one Federation State Championship. During that journey, Marshall has be honored with numerous coaching awards including Daily News Coach of Year two times, Section One Conference A four times, Overall Westchester Coach of the Year and Metropolitan Eastman Kodak High School Coach of the Year. Coaching Experience: Coach D1 AAU basketball with the Westchester Hawks from 2006-2011. The Westchester Hawks were a top 4 ranked D1 AAU team in in NYC and a top 50 ranked D1 AAU team in the nation, highlighted by being a Final 4 finalist in NYC Metropolitan Region from 2007 to 2011 and competed in Invite-only tournaments such as the Bob Gibbons tournament in Chapel Hill, NC and National “Open Period” tournaments at University of West Virginia, University of Rhode Island and the Boo Williams Sportsplex, Hampton, VA. Coached highly competitive D1 Nationally ranked teams at AAU National tournaments at the following locations: the U12 D1 National tournament in Memphis, U13 in Hampton, VA, U14 in Orlando, FL, U15 in Little Rock, AK and the U16 in Orlando, FL. Jeff has led the 8th Grade Boys Jr Bobcats to a high-seeded playoff team every year in the difficult TCBL AA Division. Under Coach Lynch’s guidance, his teams have reached the TCBL’s Semi-finals in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2015. In the off-season, Jeff can be found coaching the Byram Hills High School level Bobcats 9th/ 10th Grade Boys AAU teams in local AAU tournaments.

Joe Roche has been a coach with the Junior Bobcats program for eight seasons and has coached both boys’ and girls’ teams of various ages. As a coach and trainer for the past eleven years, he prioritizes building positive relationships with his players. Growing up in Mahopac, NY, Joe played CYO, TCBL, AAU for the NY Pride, and led Mahopac High School's Varsity Basketball as team captain. Joe went on to pursue a degree in physical education from SUNY Cortland and has since continued to inspire young people, as both an educator and as a coach, to love physical fitness and the game of basketball as much as he does. In addition to coaching for the Junior Bobcats, Joe coaches his school's boys' basketball team at Bronx Park Middle School, a team with a record of 25-5 that has gone on to win five tournament championships. His team was the first in his school's history to be invited to play in the NYC Middle School Basketball playoffs and has gone every year since. Joe previously coached for both the AAU Magic and the AAU East Coast Panthers where he led some of the top local basketball players to compete against some of the best high school and AAU teams in the Northeast.
